The most important, the most commonest approach what has been done is through the Transfemoral that is we use the Femoral artery which is a major artery of the groin. We also can use Axillary artery and Carotid artery. The most problematic is the logistic issues of using the Carotid artery and the Axillary artery. The most comfortable in a cath lab we are going to use is a Femoral artery. Other approaches also there where we can make a small incision at the chest and use the apex of the heart and insert the valve through the apex of the heart which is called as Transapical approach.
