In March 2014 well known climber and climbing photographer Mike Hutton travelled to the Lofoten Islands off the Northern coast of Norway. The Lofoten Islands lay inside the Arctic yet have the largest positive temperature anomaly in the world relative to latitude (that means they are surprisingly mild considering where they are).
Mike was in search of pictures of the Northern Lights and a spot of choice undiscovered bouldering. He happened upon the perfect boulder but the landing looks more than a little worrying with no pad and no spotter and only his trusty Podsacs Alpine 40 for company.
