Looking back at my life as a student and teacher, director and working artist, I have had a chance to meet a handful of directors and teachers myself, of varying skill and competence.

It's important for us to know what our roles are in the industry, what to expect from our teachers and directors, and what NOT to.

And throughout all of this, learning a few important tips on professional "decorum" can mean the difference between keeping or losing a great job
