In this video you'll learn five data analysis tools on Excel.
First, we cover forecasting in Excel using the forecast sheet feature. For this we use a hotel resort's revenue historical figures to forecast into the future. The tools are descriptive statistics, linear regression, multiple regression, correlation analysis, and forecasting.
Second, we cover correlation analysis using the data analysis feature on excel. Correlation analysis allows us to see if there's a correlation between different stocks we wan to invest in.
Third, we cover descriptive statistics, which helps us find essential statistics for our values such as the average, count, min, max, and more.
Fourth, we cover a simple linear regression to see the relationship between 2 variables. For this we use a scatter plot with the equation of a line and the r squared.
Lastly, we cover a multiple regression, where we get the adjusted r squared, the coefficients, the p values and more.
