This was a good, solid second nine of how to break level par or 72 at Austin Heights Golf Course in Johor Bahru Malaysia.. There was one major slip up which affected the score but I really took the IDGAF level thinking and applied it to the Stress-Free Philosophy.
It was great to be able to move on from such a devastating hole and finish the remaining holes -2.

IDGAF Golf: Detachment from the outcome of a shot or hole. We move on knowing, and understanding through awareness of ourselves, why we made an error. We do not beat ourselves up. We keep an open growth mindset and not a closed mindset. Growth mindset means we learn from our experience and improve. Closed mindset means we beat ourselves up and call ourselves losers. We get defensive when we are closed but we stay consistent when we are growth focused.
STRESS-FREE GOLF: We pick the right shot, the right club and the right thinking for the situation. We hit only shots we feel comfortable with and we subdue the ego to as close to 0% as we can. We hit the ball to a place where we know we will have a great chance of hitting another stress-free shot. We practice our short game and are confident that even in a bad ball-striking round, we can get it close to the greens and save a score by utilizing our short game skills.
There is no other way to play golf. We are not PGA Tour pros. We are amateurs and we are imperfect. That is the best part of being us. We are allowed to be imperfect as we have no sponsorship deals, we have no TV time, our job is not on the line every shot, every week. We do this as a hobby and we have fun. If we don't, we should take up cycling.
