"Don't Blame Me" written by Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields in 1933, for the Chicago revue Clowns In Clover, was recorded by the Everly Brothers for Warner Bros. Records in 1961, reaching #20 on the Billboard pop chart. It was included in their LP, Both Sides Of An Evening, available on CD on the Collector's Choice label and also the Heartaches & Harmonies Box Set on the Rhino label. The song and the entire album were a departure from their previous work, but, as in all their recordings, the harmonies are wonderful. This sound recording is administered by WMG.
