This was one of my favorite films of the year, but I have to admit I needed to watch it a few times before I had a full handle on the story. If the film left you with a lot of questions, or you just wanted to get a brief refresher, you've made it to the right place. Everything Everywhere All At Once is a gorgeously dense film that absolutely rewards subsequent viewings. The Daniels nailed pretty much everything, but I especially loved how they managed to retain the sincerity of the film amidst all of the chaos.
The core trio of Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu were outstanding, and of course Jamie Lee Curtis put in one of the most hilarious cameos of recent memory.
I'm expecting big things for this movie at the 2023 Academy Awards, and I think every ounce of it will be well-deserved.
