Welcome along to todays E39 M5 DIY guide.
Today we will be looking at bleeding the clutch system using one of 2 methods - Gravity bleed and Vacuum bleed.
Both are easy to do on your own. Just remember to make sure that the fluid reservoir is always full as the clutch system side of the reservoir is only small and can quickly run out and this will then draw air in to the system.
Doing this shouldn't take you longer than 10 minutes at the most and is advisable to do when you change your brake fluid or when you have fitted a new clutch.
