This is the official Diecast Emporium review of the Diecast Masters High Line Series Caterpillar 315 Excavator Special Black Finish Edition. New for 2023, the item number is 85957BK. The 315 Excavator features a Special Edition Black Onyx paint job which looks spectacular in person. The excavator model has several opening access panels and cab door, in addition to the roof of the cab being removable to insert the operator feature. The boom, stick, and bucket functionality is excellent, and the digging bucket is removable from the quick coupler.
