The term “binaural” means “relating to two ears”. A binaural beat is an auditory illusion, perceived when two different tones with frequencies lower than 1500Hz and less than 40Hz apart, are played one through each ear. This creates the auditory illusion of a third tone in your brain. This third tone is called a “binaural beat”. In this meditation music, the binaural beat is set at a frequency of 16Hz.

The frequency of 16 Hz lies within the range of beta brainwaves (14-30 Hz). Binaural beats in this frequencies range have been linked to increased concentration and alertness, problem solving, and improved memory. They can help keep our attention focused, they can improve the ability of analytical thinking and problem solving, they have a stimulating effect on energy and action and furthermore are beneficial to high-level cognition (perception).

The Solfeggio frequency of 396 Hz is known to help overcome feelings of fear and clear blockages, which usually presents the main obstacle when it comes to reaching our goals and realising our dreams. Another hindrance on our way forward is the permanently recurrent overthinking of problems and worries.
