These are William Friedkin's words on whether he thinks a filmmaker is an artist or not, from the documentary "Friedkin Uncut". It stuck with me ever since I heard it, and I've seen other directors and people on YouTube discussing it. So, I thought I'd pitch in my own opinion on the matter too.
