Late Summer/early Autumn is a great time to sow seeds ready for flowers this Winter and next Spring, and I am delighted to be joined for this tutorial by the lovely Fiona Brightman from Kent. In this video she shows us how to sow Calendula seeds and explains the best method to do this. Fiona has been growing plants from seed and says it has become addictive. She grows everything from Delphiniums, Pansies, Violas and Cornflower, to Lupins and many more. I definitely need to give this a go and will be going online to find a mini greenhouse system so that I can get started. Believe it or not, I have never grown anything from seed!
