“We've got a responsibility to recognise a Palestinian state.”
Wes Streeting, Member of Parliament for the Labour Party, says in a recent LBC interview that world governments cannot rely on Israel anymore, as they have shown to not be “partners for peace”.
Because of this, he says it is imperative to recognise a Palestinian state, not only to give Palestinians their “unalienable rights” but to also “protect Israel’s democracy”.
