Nails should be around 6" apart on edges and 8"-12" in center; depending on how high winds are in the area where the roof will be installed. It depends on where your location is. But an average rule I use and builders use. If the location of the new body new roof is on a river, beach, high elevation, open field, etc. Then I may go ahead and add extra beyond the 6” on edges and seems. 8-12” in center of plywood. Also valley’s and hips should also have the 6” pattern.
