So i have been fighting rabbits for years in my perennial garden and they can be VERY destructive, not only for the current season of the plants BUT ALSO weaken the plant so it doesn't come back next season. I have learned to catch them BUT this season I saw a couple baby rabbits and had NO IDEA how they got in, since the front of garden is chickenwire, and back is small-sized chainlink and I've checked bottom of chainlink like 6 times end to end and am dead sure it is snug to the ground and no borrowing either, so how are these rodents getting in?
I saw youtube video showing rabbits going thru normal-sized chainlink and thought to myself is it possibly happening in my case even though the opening is just over an inch or so? I could find no examples on internet of rabbit going thru such a small opening, but now I am living proof that it can happen.
