This was the BBC Network East live Mega Mela held at the NEC. This was a star studded event and hosted by Sonia Deol and Ameet Channa. There were a large number of acts and Bollywood stars who attended. This includes Achanak, Safri Boys, Malkit Singh,B21, DIP, Sahotas, Awaaz, Junoon, Junaid Jamshed, Amarjit Sidhu, Saeed Jaffrey , Dhol foundation, Rizwan eh Muassum qawalli group, Legacy, Apache indian, DCS.
From Bollywood during this particular year includes Saif Ali khan, Sanjay kapoor, Kabir Bedi , Gulshan Grover, Karan Johar and Yash Chopra.
