OK. So I have a 3D resin printer. Can I print 3D models for wargaming, or will it all end in disaster?

Where does consumer 3D printing fit into wargaming anyway? Are we going to put Battlefront and Games Workshop out of business? Is 3D printing the new wave for Flames of War and Warhammer 40K players?
