History:

Colonial America (Thirteen Colonies) was angry at the British for setting so much taxes on them. A mob started verbally abusing and throwing snowballs and rocks at a group of British soldiers to take out their anger. The British soldiers soon fired back though, hitting five people.

In my headcannon, Thirteen attacks Britain, and ends up with the consequences. Cutting off Thirteen’s wings is a sign of the Revolution coming up, and how the people of the colony felt at the time. (Chained down, powerless, you get the idea.)
