Ok, so, as you know I make the recipes as written here on Sandwiches of History. So brace yourselves a little bit as the Monte Cristo Sandwich from 1952’s “West Coast Cook Book” calls for a filling that we don’t normally see with this sandwich. It’s radically far off, just not what you typically see. That said, it still sounds super tasty. And I’ve got a special guest star appearance for ya too!
