—ABOUT THE EXPERT SPEAKER —
Dr. Abhas Shah is a medical graduate with an M.D. qualification in Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has more than 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs and Clinical Research across various organizations like GSK, AstraZeneca and Novo Nordisk. He has worked for the Ph3 development program and pre-launch activities of more than 10 innovative therapies in the fields of Cardiology, Immunology and Oncology. Currently, he heads the Medical affairs function for New Therapy areas namely Cardiology and Nephrology for Novo Nordisk, based out of Dubai. His team comprises medical doctors and focuses on developing innovative therapies and early therapy area development.
