Pamela Nickel Williams was born into Scientology. Her parents got involved at the very beginnings of Scientology with L. Ron Hubbard in Wichita, Kansas in the early 1950s. After she was born, her family followed Hubbard from Washington D.C. to Saint Hill Manor in England and then to the new Sea Organization Ship - Royal Scotman (later renamed Apollo). Pam went to school with the Hubbard children on the ship. She later moved with her family to the Scientology Advanced Organization in Los Angeles. While in High School, she resisted joined the Sea Organization and instead left Scientology for good, never to return. Her parents however remained connected to Scientology for years.
Pam decided to reflect on her time as a child and teenager in Scientology and the choices that her parents made to stay loyal to Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. She has written a book - CLEARLY LIES ARE TRUE about her journey and it will be released soon. We hope you enjoy this in depth interview with her.
