I visited Poland for the first time in 2019 and one of the foods people insisted on me trying was the zapiekanka. I fell in love with it and ate it as often as I could. I started to think that it wasn't hard to make myself given the right ingredients, a good kitchen and oven. Now I make it whenever I like.
