Navy Submarine USS Parche Is the 'Most Highly Deadly' in The world
The USS Parche, first commissioned in 1974 as a Sturgeon-class nuclear-powered fast attack submarine, became renowned as the most highly decorated vessel in U.S. history. After initial service, it was extensively modified for clandestine reconnaissance missions targeting Soviet underwater communications cables. The Parche's missions included tapping cables in the Sea of Okhotsk and recovering missile fragments, leading to an impressive array of honors, including ten Presidential Unit Citations.
