Exactly today, 176 years ago, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen was born. He would later be known as the Father of Diagnostic Radiology.
It was the year 1845, on the 27th of March, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen was born in Prussia in the German Confederation. 50 years later, he discovered a new kind of rays, X-ray. This new discovery would go on to change the medical world forever.
