“On the Shoulders of Giants” explores a hundred years of medical history through the lens of Cleveland Clinic’s unique model of care, offering thought-provoking insights into the development of modern medicine and its impact on people’s lives.

Beginning during the First World War, the Cleveland Clinic model was developed by a group of physicians that believed medicine was most effective when physicians practiced as a unit. Since then, Cleveland Clinic has changed the structure of medicine with an innovative approach that is coming to the Arab world for the first time with the 2015 opening of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Produced by Mubadala, “On the Shoulders of Giants” showcases one of the most respected medical institutions in the world and its ambitious project with Mubadala Healthcare to bring the Cleveland Clinic model of care from the USA to Abu Dhabi.
