Gateway Gardens was once a housing area for Rhein-Main Air Base. Today it is the newest S-Bahn stop in Frankfurt and full of hotels. Location is the 3rd stop after the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station in Frankfurt and one stop from the airport.

The S-8 and S-9 stop here as well as several bus lines. The Berlin Airlift Memorial is nearby, either by walking or with the bus. Some of the hotels may have shuttles to the airport, but with the this station only 1 stop away, the train is probably easier.

For those of you who used to live here, I don't believe there is anything left, as far as buildings go. Would enjoy reading your comments about living in Gateway Gardens.
