As the eighth season of the hit drama series premiered on November 24th, make sure to enjoy every bit of it, as the OWN network confirmed, that, unfortunately, this will be the final season. Season 9 of The Haves and the Have Nots is officially cancelled. Created, written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry, the long-running hit series debuted in 2013 and scored the highest ratings ever for a series premiere on the network. The eighth and final season of The Haves and the Have Nots marks the end of Tyler Perry’s long, 8-year partnership with Oprah Winfrey Network as he already struck an exclusive multi-year partnership with BET. Check out his new BET shows The Oval, Ruthless and Sistas. In a recent interview, Angela Robinson, who plays devious Veronica Harrington, said that the final season will be an emotional rollercoaster. She said: “You can expect more shootings and more fights and it will be shocking each week”.
