Just transcribed a couple of John Scofield’s lines from Rick Beato’s interview for Chord Yoga yesterday (coming up shortly), resulting in this falling out of my mind / hands today.

Plenty of inspiration for those bebop enclosures in his playing, obviously; more importantly: just listening back to mere two bars of the audio / transcription - that swing feel / phrasing … who’s surprised, lol

Regarding the mild reharmonization ideas - that one specific star looked a lil’ bit different yesterday, trying to reflect that. Plenty to discover in that which is suspected to be already known.

The ideas for the bridge are likely inspired by one of Bill Frisell’s performances. Find the transcription - well, probably too easy to guess where
