The Sony ICF-SW7600GR AM FM LW Shortwave Portable Radio is brought out for some serious Evening Medium Wave Band Scan Work. Sony no longer produces Shortwave radios, and that is a shame. The AM Synchronous Detection circuit is amazing on this model. A wonderful receiver if you can find it a decent price.

Overall, with the help of a Terk Advantage Loop, expect to pull in distant AM Stations with ease. The radio also has a AM External Antenna jack that works great with passive, and active antennas.
