Alcohol is the ONLY drug on planet earth that when you get addicted to it - people blame you and not the drug.

Get addicted to cigarettes and people are sympathetic and understand that the evil and devious big tobacco companies didn't play fair.

Even if you told someone you were addicted to heroin - they would see that you have been trapped by a powerful and evil drug. 

However, when you say you are addicted to alcohol, everyone treats you like you are broken or weak-willed. This includes AA. I was a highly successful man who happened to be addicted to an addictive substance.

There is nothing broken about me and there is nothing broken about you.
