The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees has been the main provider for millions across the Middle East since 1948.
But for many years, Israel has worked to delegitimise UNRWA.
Some Western countries suspended funding to the agency after Israel accused UNRWA staff of being involved in the October 7 attacks.
