I've become obsessed with the Boss SY-200. It's such a versatile tool that I want to integrate it into my playing as much as possible. This video is another example of how I've gone about that. Ignore my mistakes. The purpose here is to inspire others to integrate this and other synth pedals into their rigs. I come at this from a smaller church environment where you need to make this most with what you have. This system allows me to fill some big sonic gaps without compromising.

The SY-200 is run in parallel to the normal guitar rig in the Quad Cortex. It has an envelope filter, compressor, delay, reverb, and flanger on it as well as going through a capture of a Hiwatt DR 504. I use the expression pedals on the right to control the volumes of each signal chain. The expression pedal on the left is the Boss EV-1-WL. It's being used to control the tone sweep of the arpeggios via midi.
