Vladimir Putin's allies have threatened the use of nuclear weapons after Russia claimed an "assassination attempt" was made on the tyrant's life.
The alleged attack was a "planned terrorist action" according to the Kremlin, who said it reserves the right to retaliate.
The Russian president wasn’t injured, there was no damage caused and there were no casualties, the Kremlin added.
Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the Russian Parliament appeared to suggest Russia should launch a nuclear strike in retaliation.
Volodin raged: "An attack on the President is an attack on Russia. There can be no negotiations. We will demand the use of weapons that are capable of stopping and destroying the Kyiv terrorist regime."
