With the SEGA survey in mind here which if you haven’t seen yet is quite interesting. It’s essentially a marketing questionnaire they released recently about what games & mechanics Total War fans would like to see in future games. And the one potential title here that caught my eye was the option to choose whether you want to see a Lord of the Rings Total War.

Now this is a very cool question. A Lord of The Rings Total War could be absolutely incredible & it could be the perfect meeting point for enjoyers of Historical & Fantasy games. The countless mods of course that we’ve had in the series so far like Third Age Divide & Conquer, The Last Alliance, and best of all Dawnless Days is proof of that and frankly probably why they’re asking the question in the first place.

So what I want to do in this video is explore why it could be such a brilliant game & what mechanics could come back from previous games and what new features we could see, and why out of all the options on the list, I think a Lord of The Rings Total War makes the most sense.
