(11 Dec 2015) European Commissioner for migration, Dimitris Avramopoulos, announced on Friday, a new EU Commission initiative to create a European border police and coast guard to manage the flow of migrants and refugees.
Avramopoulos was speaking in Rome at a special session of the “Mediterranean Dialogue” conference taking place in the Italian capital.
