Today's recipe video is a little different than most of my recipes. It's a sugar-free, low-carb KETO recipe for Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies! Back in January of this year I started living a KETO lifestyle. In doing so, I have given up sugar and most carbs. I still have plenty of traditional content coming, don't worry if KETO isn't your thing. I will still be creating cake decorating videos and some regular recipes as well! I just want to start incorporating some of my KETO recipes, as I've been experimenting for a few months, and I know there are plenty in the Keto community who still want a treat every now and then....

MACROS: 1 Cookies has - 161 Cal - 14g Fat - 3g Protein - 2g Net Carbs

INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups (200g) Almond Flour - [ Ссылка ]
3/4 Cup (92g) Coconut Flour - [ Ссылка ]
1/2 tsp (3.7g) Xanthan Gum - [ Ссылка ]
1 tsp (4.5g) Baking Soda
1 tsp (4g) Baking Powder
1/2 tsp (2.5g) Salt
2 Sticks (242g) Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup (94g) Powdered Erythritol (I use Swerve) - [ Ссылка ]
1/4 Cup (96g) Lakanto Golden (a monk fruit blend) - [ Ссылка ]
1 tsp (7g or 5ml) Blackstrap Molasses* - [ Ссылка ]
1 tsp (11g or 5ml) Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup (85g or 3oz) Sugar Free Chocolate Chips (I like Lily's brand- feel free to substitute a 3oz chopped up chocolate bar!) - [ Ссылка ] or [ Ссылка ]
*MOLASSES DISCLAIMER: I know a lot of people following a keto lifestyle will take pause at the inclusion of Molasses in this recipe. Absolutely feel free to omit it, if you don't feel comfortable including it. However, it is a tiny amount, just to add a bit more brown-sugar flavor (it is certainly better with it). You will still have a tasty cookie sans-molasses. I've researched a lot of keto cookie recipes, and the best of them add this as a flavoring. Even, Dr. Berg, a keto "authority" has given it a go. The amount in this recipe adds just 0.17g of carbs to each cookie (when divided by 23 cookies). Even if remove the molasses you would still end up rounding to 2g net carbs. I am confident with the recipe as-is, but won't hold it against you if you choose to omit this ingredient.
ANOTHER NOTE/PSA: I have linked to a lot of the ingredients above. They are non-traditional items that may be difficult to locate. However, a lot of them can be found in local grocery stores and I know that Whole Foods carries all of them. They are pricier items, however, I have found much better prices locally than what they are listed on Amazon (even at Whole Foods!). I know prices vary regionally, but I encourage you to take a look at your local stores and compare prices. I didn't want to NOT link to the ingredients just in case anyone has trouble finding them.
