If your dream is to visit the beautiful French Rivieria but on a budget, then Menton, France is the city I recommend! We stayed at the Quality Hotel Menton Mediterranee and Quality Hotels tend to have the reputation in the US as lower class hotels but this one was beautiful with a stunning rooftop terrace and bar! Of all the cities we visited in the Cote d'azur, this was our favorite, for the views, calmness, views and small town feel.
