Double British MX2 champ Elliott Banks-Browne dropped back to the MX2 class this year to race part time for the SC Sporthomes Geartec Husqvarna squad. A decade after he last won the crown, he worked his way to the front of the pack at the Foxhill round to take the win.
And he beat fellow veteran MX2 racer Mel Pocock, who also is making his MX2 comeback.
After early leaders Isak Gifting and American Jack Chambers went down, EBB passes Pocock and took the win from young Kawasaki rider Charlie Cole and ex-GP ace Taylor Hammal, while Gifting made his way back to fourth and Chambers was fifth.
Only one race was run as the event was cancelled due to a fatal accident involving a race official. Godspeed Simon MItchell.
