The first Scary Movie mostly just parodied Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Sequels always have to go bigger, so Scary Movie 2 decided to go real big. Instead of just two films, they went after 47 different films. And they spanned all sorts of genres, from House on Haunted Hill to The Exorcist to less expected ones like Charlie's Angels.
