Japan is set to hold one of its biggest military drills on Friday, when 18,000 troops will participate in island-landing exercises in Okinawa prefecture. The drill is being seen as a clear message to neighbouring China. The two countries are in a dispute over the ownership of a chain of islands in the East China Sea.
