In this episode of Cooking From A Can here in beautiful Samara, Costa Rica I show you how to make another one of our favorites. Thai Basil Pork Stir Fry. We usually like it a lot spicier but now the boys are into eating the same food as us so we have to ease them in. See the ingredient list below and let us know if you made it or any of our meals in the series.
INGREDIENTS:
6 tbsp peanut or vegetable oil
4 shallots or 1 medium sized red onion - sliced thin
14-17 cloves garlic
3-9 Thai chilies (depending on spice level you like)
2 pounds ground pork
3 tsp sugar
3 tbsp fish sauce
3 tbsp thin/light soy sauce
6 tsp dark soy sauce
6 tsp oyster sauce
5 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 carrot
50 green beans
3 cups Thai basil leaves (regular basil will work too)
1 sunny side egg per serving
6 cups of cooked rice
