FIFA president Sepp Blatter (top left) has promised to kick corrupt officials 'out of the game' after U.S. prosecutors today laid bare widespread allegations of rampant corruption at football's governing body. Blatter described it as a 'difficult time for football' after Swiss police raided the five-star Baur au Lac hotel in Zurich, Switzerland, making seven arrests, including (bottom row, left to right) Jose Maria Marin, Eugenio Figueredo, Eduardo Li, vice-president Jeffrey Webb, Rafael Esquivel, Julio Rocha and Costas Takkas (not pictured). They all now face extradition to the States over claims they have taken more than £65m in 'bribes and kick-backs' over 25 years in return for FIFA sponsorship deals. FBI officials carried boxes of files out of the headquarters of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football in Miami today (main).
