A sonata in g minor by Esaias Reusner for Baroque lute. Actually, these are from a series of handwritten movements added to the end of his Neue Lauten-Fruchte manuscript. I had recorded these shortly after getting my new 11 course lute, but after a lesson on the pieces and more experience with gut strings, I'm very dissatisfied by that early attempt. The movements here are Allemande, Courante, Sarabande, Aria and Gigue. Played on an 11 course gut strung Tomlinson baroque lute by Daniel Shoskes.
