Sorry about the sheer lateness on this one, but real-life stuffs takes priority. The first stage in today's video is probably the most censored of all when it came to porting the Arcade game over to the SNES... You will see the differences when I get to posting the SNES game. This one brings the old fashioned "Cowboys and Indians" theme into the game... and does it quite well! The Indian enemies are far, far, FAR more threatening than the regular enemies I find... Easily the most threatening enemies in the game! Makes one a bit happy that they only show up in one stage. =n.n=; The stage is pretty short overall though... but this is due to the fact that all the deaths in this stage are likely to come during the boss fight. Chief Scalpem is one huge pain in the tail. He jumps all over the place, throwing spreading knives at you (which is really nasty since the player characters have such large hit-boxes), he is blocking your shots almost all the time (unless he is attacking), and in the Arcade version, his knife swipe is so fast that it is nearly impossible to jump over it for some free shots to Scalpem's head. ...He is still dramatically easier than his SNES counter-part though... Oh gods that one... *shiver*
You knew there had to be at least one more of these! Stage 7 is the second, and last, of the horse-back riding stages! This one is only marginally harder than Stage 2 due to the sheer amount of extra enemies trying to take you out in comparison. Overall Stage 7 is pretty darn simple though... then there is the boss... This boss is just silly in all forms of the word. He looks silly, he acts silly, he talks silly, he even dies in a silly fashion. If you can keep his minions from tossing any bombs onto your head you are pretty much set against this boss. He usually does not fire in patterns that are difficult to dodge, so this makes him one of the easier bosses in the game.
Enjoy!~
