A plant molecular biologist and biochemist, Steve Verhey is a visiting member of the faculty at the Evergreen State College and curator of TEDxTheEvergreenStateCollege. In "Education and Climate Change" he channels climate change's thoughts on education and finds that climate change cares deeply about education for humans.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
