Video games aren't an integral part of daily life, but as a form of entertainment, they're one of the most incredible mediums for storytelling, mechanical engagement and interactive technology. Growing Older comes with commitments, whether they come in the form of work, family or relationships, and as a hobby, enjoying games is no longer a priority.
However, purchasing and playing the biggest releases that require more time, effort and experiences that you be engaged regularly aren't the only types of games available.
We take a look at three types of games that require little commitment for time and are easily accessible. Episodic games from Telltale, Indie titles like Tacoma, Firewatch and Subsurface Circular. And of course, what we like to call the Arcade Nouveau; games with easy to understand gameplay loops that are hard to master.
Other recommendations include the episodically released Hitman (2016) from IO Interactive. A game that offered endless replay-ability, challenges, consistent updates to content, without the toxicity of multiplayer but consistently engaging.
