According to his autopsy report, Alex Cox Pastenes died from natural causes. Allegedly, Alex and his wife, Zulema, were followers of Chad Daybell’s Doomsday cult, calling themselves preppers.
Chandler police are still investigating Alex’s role in the death of Charles Vallow, Lori’s former husband. And it’s widely believed that Alex Cox killed JJ and Tylee, considering his cell phone pings put him on Chad’s property where their bodies were found buried.
