Just me preparing and self-injecting Octreotide Acetate ('Sandostatin')... most of those close to me incuding my friends and those brothers and sisters at work are used to this by now. -But for those who are just starting to inject themselves with a medication, or those friends, family, and coworkers who have wanted to know and been trying to follow what I have been going through medically, here's a little something to let you know what has made such a difference in my life at the moment.

I didn't credit Mr. O'Boyle for the wall trick or reference or Bubblybee for the original video I watched. I also did not show pulling back on the plunger before pushing the med' which you do to see if you draw back blood, which would... mean you have hit a vessel. That could mean you would have been giving an IV injection, or you hit an artery, instead of a SQ injection. It is funny I forgot to get all of the medication into the body of the ampule, which I do often: and so, I didn't show how to flick the ampule while upright especially on top while holding the bottom. At least you can make little mistakes like that and make due most times.
