[ Ссылка ] - Security camera system remote viewing setup for Viewtron NVRs and DVRs. Watch this video to learn how to setup remote access using a Viewtron IP camera NVR. Please note that all of the concepts in this video can be applied to any security camera system DVR, NVR, or network IP camera.
The setup instructions in this video enable remote security camera viewing via iPhone app, Android app, Mac software, and Windows software for VIewtron surveillance systems.
The following topics are covered.
Port Forwarding - Port forwarding is required in order to enable access to your NVR or IP camera from outside your local area network.
DHCP Reservation / Static LAN IP Address - You should always reserve a static IP address for your NVR on your router. If you router looses power or needs to be rebooted, this guarantees that the same IP address will always be assigned to your DVR, NVR, or IP camera.
DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) - Viewtron NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras have built-in DDNS. This is a service that keeps track of the IP address of your Internet connection. If your modem is rebooted and that causes your Internet connection IP address to change, the DDNS service will update with the new IP and your remote access will not be interrupted.
What is DDNS? Watch this video to learn in detail.
