Get ready for a dose of cuteness with Monkey, a juvenile Northern Saw-whet owl. Brought in after flying into a window in Juneau, he earned the name Monkey because he squirmed around like a little monkey during his admit exam. He may be tiny, but he’s ferocious! One of our vet staff members managed to take this video while cleaning his kennel. We limit human contact with our wild patients as much as possible, which usually means cleaning their enclosure and feeding them once daily. We’re thrilled to share that Monkey made a full recovery and was released!
